German-Danish Chamber of Commerce

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German-Danish Chamber of Commerce (DDHK - Danish Dansk-Tysk Chamber of Commerce) in Copenhagen is one of over 120 German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) worldwide. It represents the interests of its member companies in trade between Denmark and Germany and also offers its services to companies in bilateral trade. The DDHK is also known as AKH Copenhagen or AHK Denmark.

history

The Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1993 as the successor organization to the Delegate Office, which had existed since 1987. In 2006, Service ApS was founded as a subsidiary of the Chamber under the management of Gunnar Tessin, so that the increasingly specific customer inquiries could be met more flexibly and professionally. On April 1, 2011, the subsidiary was renamed DEinternational Denmark ApS. Mette-Kathrine Kundby is the managing director of the service subsidiary.

The Chamber of Commerce was headed by Gerhard Glaser from 1993 to the end of 2007. Reiner Perau has been managing director of the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce since May 5, 2008. The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board is Jens-Peter Saul, Group CEO, Rambøll.
