German Observatory for Drugs and Drug Addiction

The German Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (DBDD) is the national partner of the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) in Lisbon . The DBDD is part of the Institute for Therapy Research and works with experts and institutions from the fields of prevention and treatment, research, politics and statistics. Topics are the distribution and use models of legal and illegal drugs as well as measures to reduce their demand. The DBDD prepares the national annual report on the drug situation in Germany.
