German Society for Criminology

The German Society for Criminology eV (DGfK) is an association for the promotion of criminology as a science and as a practical theory of action. The DGfK was founded on May 15, 2003 in Basdorf near Berlin and operates nationwide and is independent. President is Holger Roll, the association is based in Berlin .

tasks and goals

Essential tasks and goals are the organization of the annual meetings and other scientific events, the cooperation with institutions, the promotion of specialist literature, the criminalistic practice and the scientific cooperation with national and international societies.
