Deutsche Post Fleet
The German Post Fleet GmbH (short: DP Fleet GmbH) is a subsidiary of the Group German Post AG and belongs to the Division Global Business Services .
DP DHL Fleet GmbH was founded on January 1, 2005 and makes vehicles available to all organs of the group within Germany and manages them like a leasing company. The billing takes place via a full service leasing rate. This accounting model was intended to prevent cross-subsidies from the German letter monopoly (which has now expired) and to create better internal cost transparency.
With around 67,000 vehicles, DP DHL Fleet GmbH operates one of the largest vehicle fleets in Germany (as of January 2012). DP DHL Fleet GmbH operates its own portal to market its used vehicles.
