history

School logo

Although the German School Erbil was only founded in 2010, it already has an eventful history. The school building in the city center quickly became too small due to the rapidly increasing number of pupils, but the threat from IS in 2013/14 and an economic crisis that began at the same time led to a decline in the number of pupils. After the relative stability of the last few years, this negative development could be counteracted.
