German working group for CB and emergency radio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Working Group for CB and Emergency Radio (DAKfCBNF) is an association based in Bad Soden-Salmünster (Hesse).

According to its own account, it was founded in 1982 on the basis of a resolution by the German Bundestag (printed matter 9/2274, point 7). Initially, rules of procedure were used, which were later replaced by statutes.

According to the statutes, the association represents the interests of CB radio operators vis-à-vis the responsible administrations and authorities. In addition, the association manages a database with call signs from the series DAA200 to DRZ999, which were made available to the CB radio operators by the then Federal Ministry for Post and Telecommunications for data radio applications in CB radio.

The members are not individuals, but member associations who send their delegates to the respective meetings, each representing a government region .

Since mid-2015, no club activities have been identified. (Status: Dec. 2016)
