The German Business Association (DWV) and DWV Armenia ( Armenian ԳԵրմանական տնտեսական միավորում Germanakan tntesakan miaworum , English German Business Association ) represents a trade association the interests of German and Armenian companies in the context of trade relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Armenia . The association has its headquarters in the center of the Armenian capital Yerevan .

General

The association was founded in 2013, according to the German Embassy in Yerevan , initially as the German Business Association of Armenia . Since then, over 80 companies have joined the association (as of 2020). It acts as the official partner of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) and articulates the economic interests of its members towards Armenian and German bodies from politics and business. In doing so, he tries to establish intensive contacts with the German and Armenian business associations and specialist ministries. There is close cooperation with the German Embassy in Armenia. DWV is a member of the European Business Association (EBA) Armenia .

Services

The services offered by the association include arranging business partners, organizing delegation trips, market analyzes, trade fair, logistics and export advice, legal, tax and customs information, as well as publications and business newsletters.
