The brown trap

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The brown trap - a right-wing extremist "career" was a traveling exhibition of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution . She described the fictional story of Mario S., who drifts into the right-wing extremist scene and only realizes that this is the wrong path when he and his comrades leave a foreigner who has been beaten almost to death in the gutter.

The exhibition showed, among other things, confiscated items such as B. Books, CDs, weapons and Nazi memorabilia . Short films at the various stations made it clear what the supposed everyday life is in a right-wing extremist comradeship.

In 2015, according to a report for the protection of the constitution , the exhibition, together with two other BfV traveling exhibitions, recorded a decline in visitor numbers of around 64,000. It is no longer mentioned in the 2016 report on the protection of the constitution.
