Dieter Volkmann

Dieter Volkmann is a German biology professor and emeritus professor at the University of Bonn . He headed the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology.

Life

Volkmann studied natural sciences in Würzburg, Tübingen and Bonn. He did his PhD on gravity perception. His habilitation dealt with a topic on cell and membrane dynamics. His research areas are cell and membrane dynamics and signal processing.
