Divers gauche

In France, the term Divers gauche ( German Diverse Linke , abbreviated DVG ) summarizes politicians or election candidates who can be assigned to the political left but do not belong to any particular party .

According to a decision by the French Ministry of the Interior in 2001, candidates or lists without a party must be classified under "Diverse rights" ( Divers droite , DVD) or "Diverse Linke" (DVG) according to their political position .

In the current legislative period (since 2017) MPs known as Divers Gauche have 12 seats in the National Assembly .
