Djezzy
Djezzy ( Arabic جازي Jazi ) is an Algerian mobile phone company . The company was founded in 2002 and is part of the Orascom Telecom group .
history
In July 2001, Djezzy auctioned for 737 million US dollars, the second for Algeria tendered GSM license. On February 15, 2002, the society officially started its work. In September 2007 Djezzy had around 12 million contract customers and 3,000 employees. The company has two main competitors in Algeria: the state-owned Algeria Mobile Network and the private company Wataniya Telecom .
