Dornsbergerhof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dornsbergerhof was a Graz noble farm. Its history dates back to the 17th century.

history

The Dornsbergerhof was owned by the Teutonic Order before 1630 and belonged to the Leech Church . In the middle of the 17th century the estate was sold to the Lords of Dornsperg. In 1672 the court went to Count Morell and became known as the "Morellische Hof". In 1740 Theresia Enders sold the farm to Karl Rudolf Josef von Keller, who was arrested in Vienna in 1766 for debts that had arisen through fraud. As von Keller never paid the purchase price, the farm remained in the possession of Enders, who reversed the sale. Enders handed the property over to the pastor of St. Leonhard . In 1782 the pastor sold the farm to the Count of Schönborn, who connected it with his rule in Arnfels .
