The Dosimat (brand from Metrohm ) is a type of automatic burette with which precise amounts of titration solution can be added during titrations . The device can be operated manually or controlled by a computer. It consists of an (exchangeable) exchange unit, which can contain various titration agents, and the bottle with the titration agent - both are connected via hoses. Dosing is via a hand contact or an electronically controlled valve ; the titrant is dripped directly into the solution to be titrated.
