DownThemAll! or dTa! is a free download manager for HTTP and FTP . It was developed by Federico Parodi , Nils Maier and Stefano Verna . It is integrated into the Firefox web browser as an add-on . This means that this download manager can be used on all platforms that Firefox or its offshoots, such as Minefield , support. The program is under the GNU General Public License and has already been downloaded over 67 million times (as of January 20, 2015).

properties

DownThemAll! is characterized above all by the problem-free cancellation and resumption of downloads, so-called multi-part downloading. Any content on a website can also be downloaded with one click. The downloads can also be filtered by type (for example all images or all PDF files on a page). Metalink support has been added since version 1.0b1 . This means that several URLs as well as further information and checksums for a file can be sent to dTa! be transmitted.

With the release of Firefox Quantum (version 57), the add-on no longer worked due to changes in the API. The developer stated that the new version would have limited functionality, but remains in development. So z. B. the original time stamp of the downloaded files no longer transmitted.
