Triangular trade

The term triangular trade denotes

  • the Atlantic triangular trade between the 17th and 19th centuries;
  • a special situation in foreign trade statistics , where goods are sold from country "A" to country "B" and finally to country "C" without being physically transported from "A" to "B" and then to "C" directly from "A" to "C".
