Drempel (Middle High German for "door threshold") stands for:

  • Drempel (hydraulic engineering) , in a ship lock the wall projection, above which the lock gate of the head of the lock is located
  • architecturally a part of the outer walls in the attic that protrudes above the floor, see knee floor
