Durak is the name of a certain rhythm (" meter ") in Islamic-Sunni music, which is assigned to a certain makam (key). The meter "durak evferi" is based on the makam "irak" and consists of 21 units that are composed: 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4. The prayer for mercy "salat" has this rhythm.
