Duri-Ashur

Duri-Aššur was an Assyrian governor of Tušan on the upper Tigris . Under Tiglat-Pilesar I he was eponym administrator for the year 728 BC. And thus a high dignitary. He is the author of a number of letters that have been kept in the Nimrud archives.
