EULIS - European land information service - was a Europe-wide data network for national land register systems . The aim of the association was reciprocal data access to national land register databases. Throughout Europe , the EULIS partner states were expressly not seen as being restricted to the EU area, so states such as Norway and Iceland were also represented in the project.

The system worked with some partner countries since 2007; In mid-2009 the following systems were online: Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Iceland, England / Wales, Ireland, Austria.

Access to national land register systems in real operation worked alternately between the systems in which the status was shown as "online".

A lack of support and the efforts of the EU Commission to set up its own comparable system within the framework of the EU Justice Portal led to the cessation of operations and the dissolution of the EULIS group in 2018.
