House 53 - Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the AK Eilbek in Hamburg-Barmbek-Süd

The former hospital and deaconess home Ebenezer (house 53) from 1910/11 on the parcel 1651 of the Barmbek district on the west side of Friedrichsberger Straße (53) is to be preserved as a monument ensemble, as regulated in the Barmbek-Süd 12 development plan. The former hospital complex still consists of the hospital building with an attached chapel and a detached medical center.

The former hospital and deaconess home Ebenezer (Friedrichsberger Strasse 53) at the corner of Holsteinischer Kamp and Friedrichsberger Strasse is shown as having three floors. The building limit is based on the existing building and allows the rear area the possibility of a (listed) extension. The existing two-storey building, which was previously used as a residential building for doctors, is also to be given a new use. Together with the fixed three-storey building, both buildings are protected as a monument ensemble.
