Andreas Neil Edzard "Eddi" Hüneke (born February 23, 1971 in London ) is a German a cappella singer and author. He was a member of the German a cappella group Wise Guys , for which he also wrote melodies and lyrics.

Hüneke is the son of the former Protestant superintendent of the Cologne-Mitte church district, Martin Hüneke (1929–2017), and Ulla Hüneke and has four siblings.

He has been friends with the later Wise Guys member Daniel Dickopf since his youth . In the early 1990s, Hüneke did his civilian service in Brussels for about a year and a half through Action Reconciliation for Peace . He studied Protestant theology , but dropped out in 2009.

He has been working as a solo artist since the end of 2017. His first album “Alles auf Anfang” was released on March 30, 2018. In 2019 he went on tour with Tobias Hebbelman in 21 cities in the USA.

Edzard Hüneke is married and has four children. He lives in Hürth .
