Egmont R. Koch

Egmont Robert Koch (* 1950 in Bremen ) is a German investigative film journalist and book author.

Life

Koch studied biochemistry at the Hannover Medical School before switching to journalism. He became known, among other things, for the book “Seveso is everywhere”, which he wrote in 1978 together with Fritz Vahrenholt . Since 1980 he has been producing films that have won multiple awards, primarily for the two public broadcasters ARD and ZDF. His film about illegal arms exports to Iraq was awarded the "Grand Prix of the International Film and Television Festival" in Hiroshima / Japan. Many films were accompanied by books, some of which have been translated into up to twelve languages.
