Former legal forms of partnerships in Austria

According to the comprehensive Commercial Law Amendment Act 2005 (HARÄG), the following partnerships ceased to be in force on January 1, 2007 and were converted into open companies or replaced.

The acquisition companies had to adapt the legal form to the new form in the company register by January 1, 2010 at the latest:

• the open trading company (OHG)
• the open acquisition company (OEG)
• the limited company (KEG)
