One percent rule

The term one percent rule or rule (other notations: one percent rule ( ung) , 1% rule (ung) ) denotes:

  • One percent rule (Internet) , the observation that in Web 2.0, roughly estimated, only about 1% of users actively contribute their own content, 9% participate from time to time, while 90% only read along (passive user)
  • One percent rule, in Germany a method for calculating the taxable private usage share for a company car that is at least 50% professionally used
