Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey League
The Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey League ( CIHL for short ; Chinese 中華 冰球 聯盟 ) is the highest ice hockey league in the Republic of China (Taiwan) .
history
The Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey League was first played in 2004. The league is divided into two different divisions. While the more powerful teams compete in the International Division, in which mainly foreigners from countries with a long ice hockey tradition play, in the Open Division predominantly local players are used.
