Eccrine poroma

As acrospiroma or Akrospirom a group of benign is tumors called low risk of malignancy. They form in the dermal and / or intraepidermal sweat duct.

The Ekkrine Porom manifests itself as skin-colored or reddish, smooth, coarse solitary plaque or lumps with a size of about one to three centimeters. The tumor occurs most frequently between the ages of 30 and 60 years and can be found around 60 percent on the sole and edge of the foot and around 20 percent on the hands or head.

histology

The eccrine poroma forms broad tumor strands of uniform, small, cuboid cells with a connection to the epidermis. There are also purely intraepidermal forms of the eccrine poroma, which are then referred to as hidracanthoma simplex .

Differential diagnosis

In the differential diagnosis, other adnexal tumors should be considered in addition to the eccrine poroma.
