Electric Boogiemen , also Electric Boogie Men , is the pseudonym of a Dutch pop - acts and one-hit wonders .
In 1983 the R&B- influenced pop song Breakdancing reached chart listings in Germany . The song was written and arranged by the Dutchman Piet Souer and produced by his compatriot Hans van Hemert.
A year later, the same team released the title Line Up (Dance Into Something Good) under the slightly shortened stage name Boogieman , but it fell short of expectations and flopped. No other singles came on the market.
