Elton vs. Simon , since 2008 Elton vs. Simon - The Show was a TV game show in which Elton and Simon Gosejohann competed against each other in various competitions. The show was based on the Canadian format Kenny vs. Spenny and was realized in Germany by the production company Brainpool .
The loser of the competition had to endure a penalty at the end.
Production years and seasons
During the first two seasons of the broadcast, a competition was documented in each broadcast, for which the rules were laid down at the beginning of each episode. During the entire competition, Elton and Simon were followed by cameras in their everyday lives. For the most part, the competitions took place in an apartment rented for the broadcast in Cologne.
From the end of February to the end of March 2008, Elton vs. Simon - The show produced eight more episodes of the show. The concept was slightly changed for this: The competitions were partly held in front of a live audience and the first opponent was to win four smaller competitions instead of just one big game as before. The show was moderated by Johanna Klum . A fourth season was broadcast on ProSieben from July 17, 2010.
24 March 2012, a Saturday, was used to prime time on ProSieben first time a live show of Elton vs. Simon broadcast. The show, originally planned as a two-hour broadcast, was ultimately programmed to 2:49 hours and had a running time of well over three and a half hours.
