Emu and turtle are a mythical tale from the dream time of the Australian Aborigines .

The bird Emu can be found in the dreamtime as a being in the dreamtime story of the Two Sisters (two sisters). There he is at one time the earth mother and at another time the one who stands for the origin of man. In the Aboriginal imagination, all people are the children of Emu.

Another dreamtime story in which the emu appears: The turtle and the emu are opposite, but this has nothing to do with "good and bad", this depends on the shape of the two, because the turtle could not see the shield of its shell . When people went to war, the emu didn't want their children to fight and so he wanted to hide them. So that people could find the hiding place, the emu drew the path on the turtle's shell.

Another Dreamtime story is based on the turtle passed down as the Path of the Emu . The edible caterpillars and the so-called honey ants could read the way on the back armor, reached the people in hiding so that they could feed.
