Erich Steer (born November 28, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player . From July 1976 he played for FC Augsburg in the 2nd Bundesliga South. For the 1979/1980 season he moved to SSV Ulm 1846 . There he ended his career in 1988.
In the 1989/90 season Steer was the head coach of the SSV in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . He was then manager of the club until 2001.
