Focus on nutrition

Nutrition in Focus is a magazine for specialists, teachers and advisors in the field of human nutrition and food . Until November 2016, the publisher was the aid infodienst Nutrition, Agriculture, Consumer Protection eV , Bonn with funding from the Federal Ministry for Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection . Since aid was dissolved, the magazine has been published by the Federal Center for Nutrition (BZfE).

The journal deals with national, European and global topics from the area mentioned and also contains special information on the topic of food law including the associated legislation. In addition, the magazine presents the latest results from science and research, reports on developments and experiences in nutritional advice , discusses new publications from the relevant media and reports on news from the nutrition and food sector. All contributions are prepared for specialists, teachers and advisors and have a clear practical relevance.

Nutrition in Focus was first published in 2000 in a monthly edition. Since 2012 the magazine has been published every two months, i.e. with 6 issues per year as a print version. There is also a monthly online version.
