Es Pujols is the main resort on the Spanish island of Formentera in the Mediterranean .
The place has only 833 permanent residents, but has numerous guest beds in hotels and holiday complexes. There are several restaurants, bars and discos as well as other tourist facilities in the village. Es Pujols is located on an almost two kilometer long bay with the beach of Playa d 'Es Pujols west of the Punta Prima headland , on which there is a medieval round defense tower. The place is on the northeast coast of the island; to the west is the Estany Pudent salt lake .
In the main season there are regular bus connections to the other places on the island.
