Every Day Counts Initiative

The Every Day Counts initiative (Each tag is one initiative) is the road infrastructure project of the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), which was planned in 2009 and launched in the 2011th It is intended to promote and implement innovations that shorten project times, increase safety and protect the environment. This also had a positive effect on the acceleration of the implementation of some innovations.

Five steps are planned from 2012 to 2020 and include various technologies and methods to improve travel time, safety, project and contract management as well as to save energy, risks, costs and environmental resources.
