The Führerhäuschen is a house in Wermelskirchen , today with the address Schwanen 28. In the past, the Wermelskirchen leader of the state riflemen lived here . The house was a kind of official residence near the court, today Schwanenplatz.

The first documentary mention was made before 1827. The married couple Wilhelm Schmitz and Anna Elisabeth Richartz bequeathed the house to their daughter before notary Hamm. In 1828, the son-in-law Peter Franz Hasenclever and his wife Wilhelmine Schmitz loaned 300 thalers from notary Hamm.

In the original cadastre 1826-30, the heir Jeremias Hasenclever is registered as the owner of a piece of land 13 acres in size with the house in hallway 7 on parcel 188. The house remained in the hands of the Hasenclever family until 1990, when a neighbor bought the house and had it extensively restored.
