The Football Club de Mtsapéré is a football club from the French overseas territory of Mayotte . The club has played in the top division of the Comoros island, the Championnat de Mayotte de football , since it was founded in 1978 . With eight cup successes in its early years, the club holds the office of record cup winner to this day and in the 2000s further titles in the national championship followed. In addition, the Mtsapériens were able to win the Coupe de France régionale four times , the win of which is equivalent to participation in the seventh round of the Coupe de France .
