FIABCI (Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Biens Conseils et Agent Immobiliers), also known as the 'International Real Estate Federation', is an association of real estate professionals that was founded in 1949 as a multidisciplinary and multilingual multi-sector association. Professionals from all real estate sectors work together in the FIABCI worldwide. The association has 3,200 members (individual members and companies), approximately 20 academic members and 100 national professional associations representing 1.5 million real estate professionals. The members come from 60 countries. In addition to its association activities, the FIABCI has awarded the Prix d'Excellence annually since 1992 to outstanding real estate projects worldwide in the areas of design, construction, profitability, marketing strategy, environmental compatibility and social benefit.

The FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award, now also known by the Wall Street Journal as the “Oscars of the global property world”, is presented by a 70-member jury from over 25 countries in the 12 categories: Environmental, Heritage, Hotel, Master Plan, Office, Public Infrastructure, Purpose Built, Residential (High / Low Rise), Resort and Retail Category. FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Germany

In September 2014 the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award came to Germany and was awarded in the categories “Commercial” and “Residential”. Almost 50 projects from 22 cities and 10 federal states applied. The winner in the “Commercial” category was Strabag Real Estate GmbH with its “Dancing Towers” ​​project in Hamburg. The REO Group took second place with the “One Goetheplaza” project in Frankfurt. Third place went to the Elb Arkaden of Primus Developments GmbH and DS Bauconcepts GmbH in Hamburg. In the “Living” category, Interboden Innovative Lebenswelten GmbH & Co. KG won with its Raphaelhöfe Soers project in Aachen. Garber's partner Wohnungsbaugesellschaft GmbH came second with the “Waterfront Osterbeck” project in Hamburg. Third place went to Mary-France Jallard Graetz Dipl.-Arch. ETH / SIA and MBA Real Estate Management with their project “Am Urban” in Berlin. The award gala took place on September 12, 2014 in Berlin in the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt on Potsdamer Platz.

Gold winner 2014

In 2014 there were two gold winners at the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Germany. The Dancing Towers won in the “Commercial” category. The project was carried out by Strabag Real Estate GmbH and developed by the architect Hadi Teherani. The winner in the "Living" category is the Raphaelhöfe Soers project in Aachen, which was designed by the architects Reiner Götzen, Creatives Planen and Walter Krause and developed under the direction of Interboden Innovative Lebenswelten GmbH.
