Technically responsible person

The technically responsible person (FvP) is a term from Swiss pharmaceutical law . It is responsible for compliance with the relevant pharmaceutical regulations for the manufacture, import, wholesale and export, trade abroad and the release of pharmaceuticals . The technically responsible person is also responsible for the complete documentation of compliance with legal regulations.

The tasks of the FvP are described in detail in the Swiss Medicines Authorization Ordinance (AMBV) for each type of authorization.
