Collapsible container (recovery technology)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A collapsible container is a portable container for collecting liquids . It either consists of a foil bag and a support frame or is self- floating, whereby the foil edges automatically float on the water and thus rise with the water level. The advantage over fixed containers is the compact storage, because the film can be folded up to save space and an existing frame dismantled. An important purpose is to collect mineral oil that has leaked out in order to prevent water and soil contamination.
