Fangoria is a Spanish synth rock band with two members: Alaska and Nacho Canut . Both come from the previous formation Alaska y Dinarama . The band name is derived from the US horror film magazine of the same name. Singer "Alaska" herself was previously on the road with various other musical projects, but most of them remained unknown.

While the band celebrates great sales and concert successes in Spain and is also one of the big pop acts in Latin America, they have remained largely unknown in Germany. The Spanish successes of the group Fangoria include En mi prisión , Electricistas , No sé qué me das , "Hombres", "El cementerio de mis sueños" and Criticar por criticar .

A trilogy begins with the album Una temporada en el infierno (1998) , which was continued with Naturaleza muerta (2001) and ended with Arquitectura efímera (2004). On October 23, 2006 the follow-up album "El extraño viaje" was released.
