Wrong color composite

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A false color composite is a method for the representation of certain features on remote sensing images (aerial photographs, satellite photographs). For a clearer representation and evaluation, for example of the vegetation , an IR channel is assigned a color from the RGB color spectrum .

In the case of data from the satellite system Landsat 4, 5 and 7, the individual channels can be reassigned accordingly using image processing optical methods.
