Missing list

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A misslist is a tool for hobby collectors , e.g. B. with postage stamps or coins .

The pieces that are still missing in a certain collection are noted on a missing list. Usually this is done by catalog number . Such missing lists can then help the collector himself to get an overview of his collection; however, they can also be passed on to a dealer so that he can procure the missing pieces on behalf of the collector. There are also online marketplaces that collect missing lists, forward the searches to providers in the respective collection areas and then inform the searcher when suitable articles are posted.
