Fields (biology)
Fields are a way of foraging animals, especially invading wild geese, ducks, pigeons and, increasingly, cranes. It is a non-targeted search of the ground for usable food, which can usually be picked up without great effort. The name is derived from the behavior of flocks of birds to invade grain fields .
