Filter guide

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When constructing the questionnaire, filtering refers to the skipping of questions that do not apply. By means of filter questions , respondents are directed to questions that are relevant to them.

In paper questionnaires, filter questions must be formulated in such a way that the answer options are disjoint and exhaustive ; H. exclude each other so that exactly one answer option always applies to one respondent.

Complex filtering is possible, especially in online surveys . Here, question texts can even be adjusted during the survey.
