The TuS Bad Aibling Fireballs (short: TBA Fireballs) are the basketball department of the Turn- und Sportverein Bad Aibling 1861 e. V.

history

The department was founded in 1949. The official home game hall of the TBA Fireballs is the sports hall in the Bad Aibling sports park. The 1st women's team has played in the 1st women's basketball league since the 2015/16 season. The 2nd women's team plays in the Upper Bavarian regional league. The first men's team will play in the 2nd Regionalliga Süd in the 2017/18 season. The club operates a broad-based youth basketball team with teams of all ages. In the 2018/19 season it was decided to withdraw the first women from the first division and thus relegated according to the rules of the DBBL. The reasons for this are economic difficulties and a small squad width. The other teams should not be affected by this decision.
