The Flight Design CTSW is an ultralight aircraft from the German aircraft manufacturer Flight Design . It is the successor to the CT2K version .

construction

The aircraft is a cantilever high- wing aircraft in fiber composite construction (carbon and aramid fibers) and can be flown under the framework conditions for ultralight aircraft according to European and American specifications. It is also approved for towing gliders (up to 650 kg) and advertising banners (up to 20 kg). The machine is available in the three variants Light (weight-optimized, basic instrumentation, 280 kg), Classic (high equipment, 310 kg) and Advanced (with glass cockpit , top equipment, 320 kg). The price for the light version starts at around € 80,000.

Since the start of production in 2003, more than 900 units have been produced. Since 2009 it has been supplemented by the CTLS .
