Florid

The Floride was a French screw passenger ship.

The iron-built Floride provided regular liner service between France and Mexico from 1862 . The ship was 85.66 meters long and 11.90 meters wide and had 1900 GRT . The two-cylinder compound machine developed 450 hp. The ship reached a speed of 11 knots and had auxiliary sails. In 1874 the Floride was renamed Colombie and in 1897 after 36 years in the liner service it was scrapped.
