The torture museum is housed in the henchman or torture tower.

The Torture Museum Burghausen is located in the old henchman or torture tower at Burghausen Castle in Burghausen .

The former torture chamber is on the ground floor. Below is the dungeon . The passage to the Hexenturm is on the first floor and the death row is on the second floor . The last execution in the castle took place in 1831.

The museum is operated by Peter Fischer. Most of the exhibits are replicas.
