The Foro Italico in Palermo is a green area directly on the sea. It extends from the port bay "Kala" to the south.

history

Originally the Foro Italico was a fortified coastal promenade. After the Second World War , the ruins of the old town were thrown into the sea in front of the promenade, so that the coastline shifted. A lawn with palm trees was created on the new land, which the people of Palermo like to use as an amusement park.
