Forum Archaeologiae

Forum Archaeologiae is an electronic journal for classical archeology .

The forum was founded in 1996 by Elisabeth Trinkl and Harald Noedl as a purely online medium and appears quarterly.

The Forum Archaeologiae sees itself as a platform that aims to offer archaeologists and representatives of related branches of science a medium for the publication of their work on the Internet . The forum was created in 1996 on the private initiative of the editors and is financially and institutionally independent. It aims to offer both authors and interested parties unbureaucratic, free and direct access to current publications and the media possibilities of the Internet. Registration is not required.

As part of the four annual editions, special editions on special topics or events are also published. All articles are available in full text, since the 30th edition also as PDF files. All issues are available at any time and can be searched using a full text search.
