Questionnaire for recording physical well-being

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The questionnaire for recording physical well-being ( FEW 16 ) is a psychological self-assessment procedure for recording positive aspects of well-being in adults. Other questionnaires either measure psychological well-being or use a negative operationalization of well-being in the sense of a disorder . The only questionnaire that is also oriented towards the positive pole is the questionnaire on current physical well-being (FAW) by Renate Frank. The FEW 16 consists of 16 questions, of which 4 questions are assigned to one of the following four scales:

  • Resilience,
  • Vitality,
  • Ability to enjoy,
  • Inner peace.

The answers are given on a six-point scale. The processing time is estimated at five to ten minutes and the time for evaluation at five minutes. A validation and standardization by Albani and colleagues from 2006 is available.
